Marvel Studios is gearing up to put some of the characters they acquired from Netflix back into action. Namely, Charlie Cox's Daredevil

It was announced that the character of Echo (Alaqua Cox), who appeared on last year's Hawkeye series on Disney+, will be getting her own series, and "The Man Without Fear" is set to be a part of it.

But that's not all, true believers!

Also set to reprise his role from both Daredevil and Hawkeye is Vincent D'Onofrio as the mob boss of Hell's Kitchen, The Kingpin.

It was also announced on The Weekly Planet Podcast that part of Daredevil's storyline would be his search to track down an old ally from his time in The Defenders, where he teamed up with Luke Cage (Mike Colter), Iron Fist (Finn Jones), and Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter). The show revealed super-powered detective Jessica Jones would be the hero in question.

This is huge news for fans, but the question remains, will these formerly ultra-violent character arcs have the same grit and blood seen on the Netflix series, or will Disney+ sanitize the franchises to adapt to a younger audience?

Given that they have added adult safeguards this year to keep young eyes averted from the gore of, say, The Punisher -mwhich barely went a minute without a massacre - it might be that these street level characters can still get down and dirty.

Echo is going to tell the story of gang leader Maya Lopez - who despite being deaf, is a powerful adversary to take on - going back home to get in touch with her Native American roots.

Guess we'll just have to wait and see where Disney+ is going to take this menagerie of bruisers they now own. Heck, I'm still dubious about getting a PG-13 Blade movie, so anything is possible.
