A 21-year-old Swiftie - Taylor Swift fan - and a hundred more reportedly camped outside the Buenos Aires' River Plate Stadium for five months to get as close to the stage as possible when Taylor Swift's "The Eras Tour" begins.

According to Pitchfork, most of the fans who camped out in tents outside the stadium have general admission floor tickets. Their goal was to secure the best spots possible as the floor tickets were reportedly on a first-come, first-serve basis.

"We've been in this tent for five months," the 21-year-old fan, who wished to remain anonymous, told Pitchfork. According to her, she and her fellow Swifties were camping out in small, makeshift tents.

Campers were reportedly ranked through a system. The longer they've been in the tent, the higher their chances of being one of the first in line when the show begins.

Some organizers and administrators reportedly keep track of around 60 Swifties per tent. One Swiftie named Carmen reportedly spent more than 300 total hours in the tents as of Thursday.

Taylor Swift will hold her "The Eras Tour" at the Buenos Aires' River Plate Stadium next Thursday to Saturday, Nov. 9, 10 and 11.

In other news, Buenos Aires declared the American singer-songwriter a guest of honor during the local legislature's session on Thursday, per Buenos Aires Herald.

The honor was given to Taylor Swift in recognition of "her positive influence on her Argentine audience, as well as the beneficial economic contribution of her performances to the city."

With 220,000 tickets sold in her three-day concert in Argentina, jobs and tourism all over Buenos Aires were positively impacted, according to socialist city legislator Roy Cortina.

Cortina's bill also noted that Buenos Aires should receive Taylor as a guest of honor because her concert in the city would be her first South American stop in her career.

"Argentina is one of the only three countries in South America that will host her," Cortina explained.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift's "The Eras Tour" concert film started screening in theaters worldwide on Oct. 13.

Taylor's ongoing sixth world tour is a homage to her albums. It kicked off in March 2023 at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

"The Eras Tour" is scheduled to go on until November 2024.
