American vocal group and boy band NSYNC - composed of Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick - is coming to a "better place" in the 2023 "Trolls Band Together" movie.

NSYNC first revealed a teaser for its song "Better Place" on Sept. 15. Justin Timberlake told his bandmates in the teaser, "If we do this song, it's a love letter to our fans. I would be honored to have the group on this song."

NSYNC broke up in 2004, as Bass revealed in his 2007 memoir. For its official reunion, the iconic group released its first new song in almost 20 years last Sept. 29 - "Better Place" for the upcoming "Trolls Band Together" movie, where Justin voices the character of Branch.

Per the song's credits on Spotify, "Better Place" was written by Amy Allen, Justin Timberlake and Shellback. Timberlake and Shellback were also credited as the song's producers. Meanwhile, NSYNC and Justin Timberlake were credited as performers.

On IMDb, all the members of the band reportedly have voice credits in the film, per TMZ. This gave birth to the speculation that all members could be singing in "Trolls Band Together."

However, if fans are looking into a bigger reunion for the group, TMZ said it might happen someday but "just not right now."

Timberlake and his bandmates are reportedly planning to attend a premiere later this week in Los Angeles ahead of the animated film's official release.

"Trolls Band Together" is scheduled to premiere in theaters on Friday.

In the "Trolls" movie's newest offering, Poppy (Anna Kendrick) and Branch (Justin Timberlake) will officially be a couple. As they grow closer, Poppy will discover Branch's secret past — that he was once part of her favorite boyband, BroZone.

"Trolls Band Together" is helmed by director Walt Dohrn and producer Gina Shey. It is co-directed by Tim Heitz of "Trolls World Tour."

The returning cast includes Zooey Deschanel as Bridget, Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Gristle, Aino Jawo and Caroline Hjelt as Satin and Chenille, Anderson .Paak as Prince D, Ron Funches as Cooper, Kunal Nayyar as Guy Diamond and Kenan Thompson as Tiny Diamond.
