English singer-songwriter Adele allegedly confirmed that she's married to American sports agent Rich Paul through a "cute" announcement at Alan Carr's comedy show in Los Angeles.

When Carr asked if anyone got married recently, Adele allegedly yelled, "I did," per an audience member's confirmation to Deuxmoi, an Instagram account that publishes celebrity gossip.

According to an anonymous tipster, Adele was one of the audience of the small and intimate show of around 75 people. "Adele was sitting right behind me with a friend having the best time," the sender shared.

"[She was] super cute all around and was super sweet," the tipster added.

Rich Paul was reportedly the first person Adele dated after her marriage with Simon Konecki ended in a divorce.

Per Harper Bazaar, Paul and Adele reportedly started hanging out in May 2021, but Paul clarified at the time that he was single and not dating.

In July 2021, the pair made their public debut during a game between the Phoenix Suns and the Milwaukee Bucks at the NBA Finals.

A few months after, in September, Adele shared a photo of her and Paul inside a photo booth at Anthony Davis' wedding.

The following month, Adele opened up about her relationship with Paul in an interview with Vogue, saying, "He was always there, I just didn't see him." According to the singer, they were friends for a while before dating.

"I don't feel anxious or nervous or frazzled. It's quite the opposite. It's wild," she said of feeling safe with Paul.

"I didn't mean to go public with it. I just wanted to go to the game. I just love being around him. I just love it," Adele said of their first unintentional public appearance as a couple.

On May 11, 2022, Adele took to Instagram to share romantic photos of her with Paul with the caption, "Time flies." It was reportedly a post to commemorate their first anniversary.

Fast forward to August that same year, Adele shared in a cover interview with Elle that she "absolutely" wanted to get married again. "I'm just in love. I'm happy as I'll ever be. I might as well be married," she revealed.

In September this year, speculations that Adele and Paul were married started when the singer referred to Paul as her "husband."

The following month, Paul did not clarify whether he and Adele were married during an interview with CBS Mornings but said, "We're in a good place. Happy."

"She's superb. We've been great for each other," he added.
