Flo Rida performed at New York's Rockefeller Center on Friday as part of the Today's Summer Concert Series.

Wearing a red outfit, a large Jesus chained-necklace and signature sunglasses, Flo began with his hit single Wild Ones. Hosts Savannah Guthrie and Willie Geist introduced the rapper, saying he already has 80 million singles sold worldwide, and immediately wanted to know about the diamonds hanging around his neck.

"It's the signs of success," he said. "I put God first with everything I do."

Afterwards, the hosts asked him about his song Can't Believe It, which features Pitbull.

"It's like an 'O' to the female behind," Guthrie joked about the track's music video, which came out on July 28.

"It reminded me of Florida. South beach- you go and see nice bikinis and nice young bums everywhere you go ," he explained before performing the song.

The 33-year-old rapper also said that his upcoming album, The Perfect 10, will be released in October.

"I've been in the studio...just traveling around the world. It's been days-  me not changing clothes just to get you guys the hottest music possible. So Perfect 10 is definitely going to be ground breaking for me," he told Miami's radio station Y100 on Wednesday.

During a taping of MTV Rapfix, when Flo was asked about a possible collaboration with 50 Cent on the fifth studio album, Flo Rida responded with a "maybe."

"It's definitely a hot record and putting out an album, I don't take just my take on it. On putting out an album, I make sure things line up right," he said.

Perfect 10 will feature Can't Believe It and also Tell Me When You Readyfeaturing Future.

Flo Rida finished his performance on the Today show with Whistle and I Cry.
