Erbie "E-Luv" Bowser, a former dancer on the Dallas Mavericks' all-male dance team, has been arrested after allegedly killing four people in a shooting rampage that occurred Wednesday night in Dallas, TX.

Dallas Observer reported details saying the shooting began at around 10:30 p.m when Bowser supposedly walked into his ex-girlfriend's apartment and opened fire on four people. The incident left Toya Smith and her 17-year-old daughter, Tasmia Allen, dead and two teenage boys injured.

Afterwards, the 44-year-old hip hop dancer drove to his ex-wife's house, Zina Bowser, in DeSoto where he threw a grenade and entered the house upon its explosion. After shooting until he was out of ammo, Zina and her daughter, Neima Williams, 28, were killed and two boys, ages 11 and 13, were left wounded.

News station WFAA reports that police quickly arrived on the scene and found Bowser pretending to be one of the victims. Once they saw he didn't have any scratches on him, they detained him. Even though he stated he served in the Army, that didn't stop them from pursuing the arrest.

An old bio on a Mavericks webpage listed Bowser as being 6-foot-7 and 399 pounds. From 2002 to 2009, Bowser was a member of the Mavs ManiAACs, a hip-hop dance troupe of beefy guys who entertain fans at Dallas home basketball games. He was also a special education teacher for nine years in the Dallas area before leaving in 2010.

"From what I understand, he was a very likeable guy," Laura Jobe, an administrative officer for the Mesquite ISD, told The Dallas Morning News. "He was described to me as a gentle giant; never anything violent about him. In fact, just the opposite."
