Another well-known Star Wars actor is reportedly coming back to reprise his role, as Ewan McGregor is now said to be returning to play Obi-Wan Kenobi in Episode VII.

According to Latino Review, several sources of the site stated that McGregor's character will make his presence known as a Force Ghost, being that Obi Wan was killed off by Darth Vader in A New Hope, and the most recent trilogy is set to occur after Return of the Jedi.

Although Huffington Post attempted to contact the actor's representatives, they still have yet to hear back.

The 42-year-old has expressed interest in once again taking on his old role, which he had played for the prequel part of the trilogy.

If all the latest speculation turns out to be accurate, McGregor would join the likes of Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher, who are all expected to be in the latest Star Wars movie.

It was also recently reported that Ian McDiarmid could very well come back to portray Emperor Palpatine.
