A new song titled Slave to the Rhythm from Justin Bieber surfaced on the Internet Aug. 16 featuring vocals by the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

Slave to the Rhythm uses a remixed track of Jackson's song, which was released shortly after his death in 2009. Bieber touched up the track with his vocals, layering up Jackson's stellar refrain. The remixed track is a club track spun by Capital FM in the United Kingdom. Bieber, who is a known Jackson fan, expressed his excitement for the new song via Twitter ahead of its official release:

"Excited for what is to come. MJ set the bar. Not only for music but for being an entertainer and how u treat the fans. Wish he was here..." the 19-year-old tweeted.

He also uploaded a spliced black and white image of him and Jackson in concert stating that "He (Jackson) set the bar," following that up with "MJ. The greatest of all time.#fact."

Bieber wasn't the pop sensation that he is today when Jackson died in June 2009. The Canadian was 15 at the time and hadn't even released his breakout EP, My World.

Various posts of the track on YouTube and Soundcloud were pulled off the Internet over the weekend. The official YouTube video is now replaced with a notice which explains, "The video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by SME." Sony seems to have entered a copyright claim but there are still a few versions up online that can be found.
