Kanye West has voiced his support for Diddy as the embattled rapper's trial continues.
West took to his X account on May 8 where he reposted a tweet from Diddy's children that read "WE LOVE YOU POPS!" The rapper then shared a message of his own alongside that tweet that read "#FREEDIDDY".

West's support for Diddy comes after West has been named in Diddy's sex trafficking trial. During jury selection, potential jurors were presented with a list of nearly 200 celebrities and public figures, such as West, and the jurors were asked if they had recognized any of the names.
Some of the individuals listed in the names had direct ties to Diddy, others such as West were mentioned without any obvious connection to Diddy's case.
Diddy and West do have a long-standing friendship and released a song together called "Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine" in 2025, months after Diddy had been arrested in late 2024.
The song featured West's daughter, North West, whom he shares with ex-wife Kim Kardashian. It begins with a voice recording that is seemingly Diddy's voice as he speaks with West over the phone.
"I wanna just thank you so much for just taking care of my kids, man," the person believed to be Diddy says. "Ain't nobody reach out to them, ain't nobody call them."
West then offers his response, saying: "Absolutely, I love you so much man. You raised me. Even when I ain't know you, know what I'm saying?"
Notably, Kardashian had attempted to have the song from ever being released.
Diddy's trial is slated to continue and the rapper has denied all of the charges brought against him.
