Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez Caught Checking Out Lady Gaga's Butt at MTV VMA 2013 [PHOTOS]

Lady Gaga left little to the imagination when she performed her new single Applause at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night.

Taking it all off, she bared her butt, wearing a skimpy thong as she danced around the stage. After she sat back in her seat, she continued to shake her booty in the racy attire. At one point, Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez were caught checking out Gaga's behind -- looking both shocked and in awe of her bum.

Earlier in the night, Gaga stunned in a gorgeous black dress as she arrived with her father Joseph at the VMAs. She opened the MTV Video Music Awards with her latest single, Applause. The track hails from Mother Monster's upcoming album, Artpop.

While the pop star has been rather quite for nearly two years, Lady Gaga recently broke back into the public conscience with the release of the Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin directed Applause music video.

"I am opening the show," Lady Gaga said, according to MTV. "I'm dancing and what you see in the [Applause] video is where I am now with my body. I'm dancing 'til my feet bleed every day to make sure I give the fans a performance that they won't forget."

Another racy performance came from Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke, who sang a raunchy version of Thicke's summer hit Blurred Lines. In a silver leotard, the 20-year-old pop star stuck out her tongue as she took her place among a sea of dancing, life-sized bears.

Singing the opening section of the song on her own We Can't Stop, the young performer twerked for the audience before Thicke made his appearance on stage.

Grasping a golden mic and donning a white and black suit, the R&B performer stood cool and calm in the midst of his ever moving dancers. Soon he was being licked by a bikini donning Cyrus as she grinded against him while sticking a foam finger out between her legs.
