Enstars provides a chronicle of Britney Spears' life throughout the years.

After she released Baby One More Time in 1999, it didn't take long for her to become one of the most renowned pop stars in the world.

The Louisiana native went on to sell millions of records and released six more albums to date. All of her records, except for one, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard. Her fifth studio album, Blackout, debuted at No. 2 when it was released in 2007.

Spears at times struggled with her personal life. After she divorced Kevin Federline in 2006, the singer was scrutinized by the media for going through what was deemed a mental breakdown. She shaved her hair and tried staying out of the public eye for some time.

In 2008 she released an MTV documentary titled For The Record, which allowed the public to obtain a glimpse into her chaotic private life. The documentary made it clear that fame and money doesn't equate to a happy life.

"I've been through a lot the past two or three years and there's a lot that people don't know," she said in a scene. "Sometimes it can get kind of lonely because you don't open the gate up that much. You're guarded, you have to be that way so I'm kind of stuck in this place."

The teary-eyed star also revealed that she was sad at the time.

Yet, Spears rose to the top of the industry again. She went on to release two successful albums - Circus and Femme Fatale - and judged the U.S. X Factor in 2012. The mother of two is also working on her next album.
