Hunter Biden is reportedly holidaying in South Africa after some legal troubles involving child support payments, among other things.

According to recent reports obtained by RadarOnline, the son of the former US President, Joe Biden, is currently on holiday in South Africa with his wife, Melissa Cohen, amid claims that he has been facing some financial difficulties due to some legal battles.

The latest news is that Biden is once again embroiled in another child support dispute with Lunden Roberts, who is the mother of his daughter, Navy. Lunden Roberts is said to be seeking additional child support from Hunter Biden, who allegedly earns more than the $5,000 that she receives monthly.

Reports citing unnamed sources claim Hunter Biden has been staying with wealthy associates and dining at upscale restaurants while asserting financial hardship in court-related matters. His attorney, Brent Langdon, pushed back against those allegations, arguing that occasional expensive outings do not justify modifications to existing child support arrangements.

"Going out to dinner is not support for modification of child support," Langdon reportedly said, while also maintaining that Biden already pays more than what standard guidelines would require.

As per Stylecaster, the dispute adds to Hunter Biden's ongoing financial and legal challenges. Reports indicate he may owe millions of dollars in debt, including legal fees tied to federal gun and tax cases that resulted in convictions and guilty pleas in 2024. Biden was granted a pardon by his father, the president, in 2025; however, this caused a lot of controversy in the political scene.

Moreover, it is reported that there are many debts that Biden owes to former friends and business partners who helped him pay for past legal and tax issues.

The new information emerged right after Hunter Biden became famous due to his comments regarding Melania Trump and her involvement in a case with Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sexual offender. Lawyers acting on behalf of Melania Trump threatened with a lawsuit claiming that his statements were defamatory and offensive.

Later on, Biden released a video where he refused to apologize for his actions and comments.

It is noteworthy that, despite all these legal and financial problems, neither Hunter Biden nor his lawyers have made any statements regarding how long he intends to stay in South Africa.
