Jessica Walsh and Timothy Goodman of 40 Days of Dating revealed the status of their relationship by posting about their last date today.

The last few posts detailed a trip the duo took to Disney World (at Walsh's insistence). In another post, which went up on Sept. 5, they wrote about a fight they had during the date, and how things turned awry. While fighting Walsh confronted Goodman about the fact that she really liked him but felt like she was not getting it in return.

"And she's right, I'm not giving it to her, at least not the last two days in Disney," Goodman wrote in his post about the same date. In bed, later that night, the couple cuddled and kissed, Walsh asked if they should have "break-up sex" but Goodman did not respond to her and they just went to sleep instead.

In today's post, Walsh wrote about the moment when they discussed the inevitable:

"Tim finally broke the silence and suggested we address the elephant in the room. I asked him if his feelings had changed since last night, or if he wanted to try to make it work. He said he still didn't feel it was right between us. I told him that as deeply as I care for him, he deserves to be with someone he is crazy for, and I deserve to be with someone who is crazy for me. He agreed, and he said it would be better to end things now before he could screw things up even more. We boarded the plane, and I cuddled up in the window seat with a blanket and pillow. I listened to Lana Del Rey's Born To Die on repeat, which helped me through my last breakup."

It's been a bit of a rollercoaster ride for the duo and while they might not have found enduring love, they seem to have been enriched by the experience.

Walsh and Goodman speak to Enstars about what they learned from dating each other.

Both of them closed their posts on a very bittersweet note, talking about the goodbye kiss.

"As the cab driver pulled up to my apartment, we laughed because it was literally 11:57 PM as day 41 was approaching. I just can't believe it's over. I feel so close to her. I know now that I'm in love with her. I love her, yet I know there's nothing else I can do. We kissed. I gave her a gift. We kissed one more time. I shut the cab door, and I walked away." Goodman wrote.

In her conclusion, Walsh also wrote about a very thoughtful gift that Goodman had made especially for her. "A few weeks earlier when I was at The New Museum, I bought him a bound book of napkins that I thought he might like. He gave it back to me with illustrations of 40 things he likes about me. It was one of the sweetest and most thoughtful gifts anyone has ever given to me. And as if we were in some sort of twisted fairytale, he left me at the stroke of midnight with the gift and a goodbye kiss."

The two read their last two posts out loud to each other and documented it. In the video Walsh almost starts to cry while speaking of her affections for Goodman.
