Two rivals are facing off in an NCAA football game Saturday at noon.

The Louisville Cardinals will be playing against the Kentucky Wildcats at Commonwealth Stadium in Lexington, KT on Saturday at 12 p.m. Both teams are playing their third game of the season with Louisville starting the season off with a 2-0 record and Kentucky with a 1-1 record.

The rivals have played each other every year since 1994 and Louisville has an 11-8 series edge over Kentucky. Louisville has won this matchup for the last two years. Led by quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, Louisville is looking to make it three in a row on Saturday.

Louisville will be facing a threat in Kentucky defensive end Za'Darius Smith, who has already totaled four sacks this season. Three of those sacks came from Kentucky's blowout defeat of the Miami RedHawks last weekend.

Louisville, which is ranked seventh overall in the league, is looking to inch even higher up the chart with a win Saturday. Two higher-charting teams - Alabama and Texas A&M - will be facing off Saturday as well, so a jump for Louisville is likely should they win against Kentucky.

Kentucky is not charted in the league overall but they may be looking to best their longtime rivals. Before Louisville's victories in 2011 and 2012, Kentucky managed to beat Louisville four years in a row.

The Louisville vs. Kentucky game can be seen live at 12 p.m. EST on ESPN. The game can also be streamed online for free on the ESPN website.
