The new season of Snooki & JWOWW is just around the corner and the two title stars made a stop at The Tonight Show to talk about marriage, drinking, and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.

Now that the two women have moved on from their "college years" on Jersey Shore, both Snooki (Nicole Polizzi) and JWOW (Jennifer Farley) are working on building their lives. With a 13-month-old and a fiancé, Snooki has changed her drinking habits and shed nearly 50 lbs.

"Well I wasn't an alcoholic," Snooki told Jay Leno. "But I don't chug vodka anymore. [Now it's] red wine, were classy now."

When season 3 of the MTV show gets underway, fans will see JWOW attend therapy with her fiancée while Snooki works on planning a big Italian wedding.

"In Snooki & JWOW three, [Roger Mathews and I] go to couples therapy," JWOW admitted. "I'm trying to control my anger when I get made at him because he laughs at me and when he laughs at me I get very upset...I like punching walls."

However, the 27-year-old isn't particularly a fan of her therapist considering he didn't seem overly opposed to Roger's suggestion of a threesome.

When not visiting a therapist, JWOW is busy taking on Governor Christie over the topic of marriage equality, even going so far as to call him "retarded."

"I sent him a box of cannolis to apologize for the word I called him," JWOW said of her previous confrontation with the politician. "I just have problems with people having problems with couples that are in love. I'm pro gay rights and I want in the state of New Jersey for gay people to be married and he doesn't, so I have a problem with that."

Snooki & JWOW returns to MTV on Oct 22 at 10 p.m. ET.
