Lamar Odom hasn't given up hope on his plans to return to the NBA and met with the Los Angeles Lakers recently.

TMZ reported that the 33-year-old basketball player who's made headlines for his alleged drug abuse, DUI arrest and marriage problems with wife, Khloe Kardashian went to get a haircut on Monday.

Odom's barber, a guy named Enzo hooked him up with a LO trademark star on the back of his head, a design that he rocked when he was on the Lakers. Enzo posted a picture of him and Odom on his Instagram, wishing the basketball player the best of luck.

"He still gets the star on the back of his head like when he played wit the lakers speaking of which, Wish em the best of luck in his meeting wit the lakers today #lamarodom #star #enzocuts #acutabove #starstunned #coolcat #lakers," Enzo wrote.

Odom reportedly met with the team Monday afternoon to discuss terms of a possible return. A contract has yet to be signed, but reports indicated that LA is his first choice.

Ramona Shelburne, a columnist for ESPN revealed that the Lakers did reach out to Odom, but not to join the team's roster.

"Lakers have reached out to Lamar Odom recently, but I'm told the call was on a personal level," she tweeted on Tuesday.

Enstars reported earlier that Odom won back-to-back championships with Kobe Bryant and the Lakers in 2009 and 2010, but his tenure with the team ended in 2011, when he was traded to the Dallas Mavericks. In 2012, Odom was signed by the Los Angeles Clippers.

Odom was very popular amongst Lakers' fans and he won the Sixth Man of the Year award as a Laker back in 2011, averaging 14.4 points on 53 percent shooting and 8.7 rebounds in 32.2 minutes per game.
