Dove Awards 2013 Winners, Full List: Matt Redman Leads with Six Wins in Nashville
Singer-songwriter Matt Redman won six trophies Tuesday night at the 2013 Dove Awards, the most given to any artist at the awards ceremony that took place in Nashville, Tenn.
Redman, who did not attend, used his song 10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord) to lead the pack of winners at the Gospel Music Association's 44th annual Christian music awards. He won Songwriter of the Year and Song of the Year.
TobyMac was named Artist of the Year for the second time in his career and on his seventh nomination in the category -- his first since 2008. The gospel hip-hop artist won a total of four awards on Tuesday, bringing his career total to 18.
Local Nashville duo King & Country won New Artist of the Year while Hendersonville singer Jason Crabb won Southern Gospel Performance of the Year.
