Nicki Minaj unveiled her Kmart collection Tuesday at a launch event in Los Angeles.

The 30-year-old arrived to the event in a Barbie pink Lamborghini. She wore a blue blazer that she paired with high-waisted navy pants and gold chains.

The rapper said skepticism of stars going into the fashion industry without formal design training is "understandable," but she insisted the projext "not about being a designer" for her. The Starships songstress said her intention is simply to make clothes that she would love to wear.

The line for Kmart and shopyourway.com ranges in price from $3.99 for a studded bracelet to $37.99 for a light wash, denim jacket. Additional accessories include rings, earrings and purses.

Minaj says Chanel, Versace and Herve Leger were among her inspirations for the collection. The line includes crop tops, patterned leggings, curve-hugging dresses, jewelry, clutches and bejeweled caps.

"Fashionable and sexy. That's what my line is," Minaj said on Good Morning America Wednesday as she talked about her new clothing line.
"I wanted to do something that would take Kmart to another level and make girls like me think that we could shop here," she told GMA in a taped segment.
