Owners of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 purchased in Canada will be pleased that the South Korean company is now giving a small update for their devices, according to a report by Latinos Post.

MobileSyrup reported that this small update contains some security and stability improvements. In fact, according to SamMobile the update is only 21MB in size. Those who own Samsung's latest phablet can check for availability of OS 4.3 and of firmware version N9005XXUBMJ1 by going to Settings / More / About phone / Software update / Check.

Clearly, the upgrade is pushed OTA (over the air) or Samsung's updating software, Kies. It will likely be available for all Galaxy Note 3 devices in Canada by the end of the week.

So far, there have been tips that Samsung Galaxy Note 3 units purchased via Rogers, Bell and TELUS have received this small update while the rest of the units will get it within the next few days.

If you're looking for the upgrade, the build number is XXUMBJ3, according to Latinos Post. However, this update is only available in some regions of Europe. The report also stated that  it seemed that Samsung favors Europe especially Germany when it comes to updates as it is usually where the company begins its updates.
