X-Men: Days of Future Past features the return of several stars from the franchise. Among returning stars are Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Halle Berry as Storm, Ian McKellan as older Magneto, Michael Fassbender as younger Magneto, Patrick Stewart as older Professor X, James McAvoy as younger Professor X and Ellen Page as Kitty Pryde.

The X-Men of the original trilogy will team up with their former selves, seen in X-Men: First Class, in the upcoming movie. The past and future X-Men must team up in order to protect the survival of their species.

Jackman recently spoke with The Daily Beast about the film's ensemble cast.

"When I sat there on that panel at Comic Con, and looked down at all the actors, you think, "This might be one of the best ensembles ever assembled," he admitted.

The actor even revealed that the new movie would be the biggest one yet.

"I'm quietly confident that it will be the biggest and the best of them all," he proclaimed.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 23, 2014. The movie was filmed using 3D technology.
