Dancing With the Stars pro Peta Murgatroyd recently addressed rumors that she and current celebrity partner Brant Daugherty were dating.

Murgatroyd spoke with Steppin' Out magazine recently and revealed her thoughts on Daugherty and their relationship.

"We're just friends. It happens to me every single season with every partner," Murgatroyd noted, referring to having a close relationship with her partners. "We're just very close friends."

Daugherty and Murgatroyd are among the final eight couples still left in this season of Dancing With the Stars. The couple received their highest score of the season from the judges on Monday night's episode, garnering a 28 out of 30.

Murgatroyd explained the reasons why she's loved having Daugherty as a partner this season.

"He is a very emotional, sensitive guy and I love that about him," she admitted. "I think that really comes out in the character he portrays every week. He's very serious about it. He comes in early, he's very committed to the competition and I love that about him."

Daugherty and Murgatroyd were photographed kissing outside their dance studio in late September, fueling rumors that they had become a couple. They were also spotted at a park looking very close.

On the next episode of Dancing With the Stars, Daugherty and Murgatroyd will be dancing the Jive, a dance the actor has not yet learned before this week. They will also be competing as part of a Freestyle Team for their second dance.
