The football team at Oklahoma State will be facing off against Iowa State at 12 p.m. EST Saturday.

The 19th ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys (5-1) have a significant advantage over the unranked Iowa State Cyclones (1-5) when considering their records alone. Oklahoma State has an advantage of 26-18-3 all time against Iowa State, but the teams will be playing on the Cyclones' home turf at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames, Iowa.

Oklahoma State quarterback J.W. Walsh is hoping to lead his team to victory Saturday. The quarterback leads his team in rushing and has racked up 12 touchdowns this season. Additionally, senior defensive end Tyler Johnson has eight tackles for a loss this season and has contributed handily with opposing backfields.

The Cowboys will be facing Iowa State quarterback Sam Richardson, who has thrown for 10 touchdowns. The quarterback will looking to connect with star wideout Quenton Bundrage.

Iowa State will have an uphill battle if they hope to make a bowl this year. Since they've already racked up five losses, they will have to win five of their last six games in order to be a contender. Since they are playing against a highly ranked team Saturday, they may have to settle for yet another loss.

The game is important for Oklahoma State too as another loss would put them out of the running in their conference.
