As Taylor Swift preps for her performance at the Winter White Gala at Kensington Palace, she can't seem to contain her excitement. 

Swift, 23, has a crush on 27-year-old Prince Harry and "loves everything about him," Enstars previously reported a source saying.

In a recent interview with BBC Radio 2, the singer seemed to be ecstatic about her maiden performance in front of the royal. 

"I'm really excited," she said. "I'm really stoked. It's the first royal engagement I've done and I'm very, very honored.''

The 23-year-old singer is not only warming up those vocal pipes but is also working on mastering the etiquette that befits royalty.

 "I think I'm just really safe if I just shake hands and be polite," she said. "I think that's being presumptuous in assuming I'll meet them, so first I'm going to be polite enough to not assume I'll meet them.''

Swift, who took home the Pinnacle Awards at the CMAs Wednesday, suggested that she wants to be added to the VIP list of stars meeting Prince Harry when he visits the United States iin May 2014. I

As the chances of Swift and Prince Harry meeting and getting to know each other seem to be strong, Twitter has already started speculating how the relationship will turn out. Prince Harry is currently dating U.K. native Cressida Bonas, but publications are also speculating that the singer may try to go out on a date with the royal.
