All eyes will be on Aishwarya Rai, dubbed "world's most beautiful woman", when she arrives at the Cannes film festival, which began May 16. The Bollywood star has not yet made an appearance at the star-studded event yet, but her her presence was previously confirmed by cosmetics brand L'Oreal.

The beautiful actress was recently blasted by her fans for not losing weight fast enough. It seems that fans cannot accept the fact that the once slim and perfectly-figured Aishwarya, who is hailed as a role model for millions of women, has given birth to a baby just six months ago.

Fans have posted a cruel video depicting the now and then photos of the actress - ranging from slim to ones where she appears to have a double chin.

The former 1994 Miss World was told by fans that it is "her duty to lose weight". Some even compared her to the likes of Hollywood's Angelina Jolie and Victoria Beckham, who have slimmed down just weeks after giving birth. It definitely seems that the unhealthy influence of Western celebrity moms who manage to bounce back to their pre-pregnancy figure in less than two months has hit Bollywood.

Aishwarya, India's film star Abhishek Bachchan in 2007, gave birth to their daughter in November. The name of her daughter had not been released for months, and instead the media had dubbed her baby as "Beti B".

However, according to the Times of India's interview with Abhishek Bachchan, it is most certainly clear that Beti B's name is "Aaradhya". Although the media has speculated that Aaradhya is indeed her name, the parents never confirmed it. However, in the interview with the newspaper, Bachchan often referred to his daughter as Aaradhya. They have yet to release a photo of their daughter.
