Selena Gomez's pre-recorded performance of Slow Down on The X Factor USA aired Thursday, Nov. 14 during the results show.

Her performance was recorded last week but its air time was rescheduled due to the show's voting glitch.

The 21-year-old took to the stage in a black leather outftit with matching black, thigh-high boots. The sequinned layered ensemble featuring a leather fringed skirt that exposed her leotard underneath. She wore her long brunette hair in voluminous curls with a quiff, and kept her make-up bronzed and with a plum color on her lips.

The former Disney star surrounded herself with back-up dancers also dressed in all black, to perform the track off her Stars Dance album. At one point on stage, the Texas native told the audience to "jump!" right before sparkly silver ticker tape rained down on the stage.

Before filming her performance Nov. 7, Gomez spent some quality time with X Factor host Mario Lopez.

"Backstage with my girl @SelenaGomez!" Mario tweeted. "Such a sweetheart... She reminds me of a grown up Gia [my daughter]."

Once Gomez hit the stage, Lopez shared more kind words: "@SelenaGomez killin it on stage."

The same day as her taping Gomez uploaded onto Instagram a selfie of her backstage with X Factor judge and mentor Demi Lovato. They both pouted their lips for the camera and Gomez captioned the shot, "It's just the evidence of forever. No matter what @ddlovato."

The Heart Attack singer responded with her own message, writing, "Love you SO much.. #14yrsStrong."
