Lady gaga performed her Do What U Want with R Kelly at the 40th American Music Awards 2013 on the night of Nov. 24.

The duo staged a sketch before launching into the song, in which Kelly played the president and Gaga, his secretary who was always at his service. The song was given a bit of a different spin for the AMAs, as midway Gaga got political and broke away from the sexual message of the song, highlighting the press tarnishing her body image.

The singer-songwriter has not been nominated for any awards this year.

The Applause singer arrived on the red carpet at tawards on top of a white horse, operated by humans, in a lavender Versace gown.

Gaga was also revealed as the face of Versace for its spring/summer campaign on Nov. 23.

"#Versace proudly confirms @LadyGaga as the face of SS14 campaign shot by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott #VersaceLovesGaga" the Versace brand tweeted on Saturday, Nov. 23.

The pop diva released her latest album, ARTPOP, on Nov. 6. While the album received mixed reviews from critics it has gradually climbed the charts. Gaga's ARTPOP was ranked the number one album in the country according to a Billboard report. Gaga's new album sold about 258,000 copies in its first week of release, giving her the second chart-topping debut of her career.

Gaga gave her most recent performance of the same song on Saturday Night Live.

Lady Gaga's holiday special featuring the Muppets will air on ABC later next week on Nov. 28. Gaga will perform songs from ARTPOP, seasonal standards, and Elton John, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Kristen Bell and RuPaul will be making special guest appearances.
