Despite referring to each other as "best friends" in previous interviews, Kylie Jenner and Jaden Smith appeared otherwise when they sat together at the 2013 American Music Awards on Sunday.
The 16-year-old reality star and her 15-year-old rumored boyfriend held hands at the awards ceremony at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, Calif.
Jenner arrived to the event with fringe bangs as she posed for paparazzi with her sister Kendall Jenner. She wore a white Maiyet top and black Giambatista Valli pants with black ankle booties.
An eyewitness told Us Weekly that Kylie originally sat with her sister Kendall in the audience. In between sets, the sisters went to see Smith and Kylie gave him a "big hug" and the pair "held hands" before she went back to her original seat. Kylie eventually made her way back to Smith and sat next to him for the rest of the night.
Smith attended the AMAs and introduced Miley Cyrus' performance of Wrecking Ball. He announced the controversial 19-year-old singer alongside rapper 2 Chainz.
The alleged teen couple was first seen together on a date in London in early March. Eyewitnesses told Mail Online they spotted Jenner and Smith kissing during their dinner date at Sophie's Steak House in Covent Garden.
Last week, Kylie and Smith both attended The Hunger Games: Catching Fire Los Angeles premiere. Although they arrived separately, they did display PDA last month on the red carpet for the Ender's Game premiere in New York City. Kylie was also Smith's date at the screening for his last film After Earth ahead of its June release.
