Punk rock singer Ian Watkins pleaded guilty to 13 sexual offenses on Tuesday, Nov. 26, including two of attempting to rape a baby.

Authorities arrested the 36-year-old former lead singer of Lost Prophets in December 2012 on charges of conspiracy to engage in sexual activity with a 1-year-old girl, possession and distribution of indecent images of children and extreme animal pornography.

The singer pleaded guilty to attempted rape and sexual assault of a child under 13 years old; three counts of sexual assault involving children; six involving taking, making or possessing indecent images of children; and one count of possessing an extreme pornographic image involving a sex act on an animal.

Watkins appeared in court alongside two female co-defendants charged with conspiring to allow Watkins to rape the 11-month-old baby boy of one, as well as the other's baby girl. Watkins and his co-defendants will be sentenced in December.

Lost Prophets disbanded as a group because of Watkins' criminal troubles, they announced on their Facebook page in October.

"To our fans: After nearly a year of coming to terms with our heartache, we finally feel ready to announce publicly what we have thought privately for some time. We can no longer continue making or performing music as Lostprophets," the message read. "Your love and support over the past 15 years has been tremendous, and we'll be forever grateful for all you've given us."

"As we look forward to the next phase of our lives, we can only hope to be surrounded by people as devoted and inspiring as you guys have been," the statement said.

The band recorded five albums in their time together: Thefakesoundofprogress, Start Something, Liberation Transmission, The Betrayed and Weapons.

Some social media users have been extremely vocal about Watkins' crimes, referring to him as a pedophile and wishing various nasty experiences for him.

"He should be killed slowly!I won't listen to his music anymore!" Julia Seraphina commented on a photo of the singer on the group's Facebook page.

"You stupid emo sick c**t! Roast in hell," Brittany Clayton wrote.

"I HOPE YOU DIE :@" Suzi Boo wrote.

Reactions on Twitter weren't any more positive for the singer.

"See, I used to really like Lostprophets. You're S**t Ian Watkins," Jake Pemberton tweeted.

"Please god this dirty B*****d will rot in prison for the rest of his life!" Chris Curry wrote.

"What a complete SICKO! I hope people are asking for refunds on his albums on iTunes!" Siany Arthur tweeted.
