Consumer Reports lists of best and worst new cars for 2014 have been revealed, just in time for those planning on purchasing a new car for the holiday season.

Though the official list of Top 10 models did not include several brands like Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, BMW, Cadillac, Kia, Chevrolet, Hyundai, Dodge and Ford, the lists for individual categories such as Top Test Models, Highest Ranked American Cars, and Best Fuel Economy saw a rather large mix of top-ranked vehicles from a large portion of brands.

Enstars has compiled a list of 10 Vehicles that may not have appeared on the list for the most reliable cars, but do consistently rank highly in some of the other categories:

1. Tesla Model S: The Tesla Model S was ranked first for test models with an overall score of 99, and is also first when it comes to best fuel economy for upscale and luxury vehicles with a combined estimated 84 miles to the gallon city and highway. It is also the best ranked American luxury sedan on the market.

2. Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE: This Hybrid model came in from Consumer Reports battery of tests with an overall score of 93 on its overall performance. It is also ranked third on their list for Best value, and has the second-highest ranking for Best Fuel Economy for Mid-Sized Cars with an estimated average of 38 miles per gallon.

3. Chevrolet Impala 2LTZ: The best Ranked American Upscale Sedan also scored a 95 on the battery of tests.

4. Audi A7 3.0 TDI: With a 96 test score, it also has high ranked fuel economy for upscale and luxury cars with an estimated 28 miles to the gallon.

5. Hyundai Elantra GLS: With an estimated 29 miles to the gallon, it ranks among compact cars with the best fuel economy, as well as for best cars under $25,000. It goes for$19,410.

6. Honda Fit: This Best Value ranked car is also a great buy for the budget-friendly buyer, as it only goes for $16,915.

7. Hyundai Accent GLS: For only $16,320, those who buy this car will also get one of the best ranked subcompact cars for fuel economy with an average 31 miles per gallon.

8. Honda Civic Si: This Sports Car gets an estimated 29 miles to the gallon, and is priced at $23.175

9. Hyundai Elantra GT: Among the highest ranked for Best fuel Economy in Wagons& Hatchbacks with 27 miles per gallon, it goes for $20,445.

10. Rounding out the list is the Ford Focus SF SFE Sedan, which is the highest scoring American Vehicle for Small Cars, and has a great fuel economy for compact cars with an average of 31 miles to the gallon.
