Heidi Montag and her husband Spencer Pratt of MTV's The Hills candidly opened up about their financial woes after blowing through $10 million since the show ended in 2010.

"We were immature and we got caught up...We thought we were Jay Z and Beyonce," Pratt revealed in the newest issue of In Touch.

At one point the couple would spend $4,000 on bottles of wine whenever they went out to eat, while Montag also splurged and spent $20,000 to $30,000 every day on shopping. The couple said all that has changed.

"Now I can spend like $100 at Victoria's Secret. I feel like a different person," Montag told the magazine. .

They also spoke about whether they wish they never did the show that made them famous. Pratt said about his role on The Hills, "I didn't realize people would only know me as that character. It was just a persona I played up to make a paycheck."

"[It] took a toll on her soul...I'm thankful not to have fake fights anymore!" Montag added.

Though the fights may have been staged, Montag and her fellow The Hills costar Lauren Conrad haven't seemed to rekindled their relationship. When asked if they will be getting invited to Conrad's wedding, Montag said, "I've talked to Lauren a few times on the phone since The Hills. She was really sweet, but I don't think so."

The couple is set to open up more about their money issues since The Hills on an E! special called After Shock: Heidi & Spencer. It will air Monday, Dec. 9.
