A source told the Sun: "Liam was stunned when he saw her in the changing room - he couldn't believe she'd got past security. For one thing, he was in the middle of getting dressed and had no idea what she was going to do, as their fans in the US are mad." The female fan was escorted out shortly.

Niall Horan recently revealed that the female fans can sometimes become a bit too much for him. In an interview with Digital Spy, he said: "You can see girls getting too excited and they start crying or worse. In a lot of these countries they don't get a lot of gigs to go to, so when they get to see their favorite artist they take full advantage of it. Obviously the excitement builds up too much for some on the night and they get a bit crazy."
Horan also said that bigger and louder crowds help calm his nerves before he takes to the stage.

One Direction surprised a group of girls gathered at a Diner in California with a live acoustic performance of their hit single "What Makes You Beautiful." The teenage girls thought they were there to see the band's screening of their "Up All Night: The Live Tour DVD" but were in for a surprise when the band started to sing. The boys seem relaxed as they sing to the girls who sing along with them. Afterwards Harry said when they perform acoustic "its nice to slow it down and make it a little bit more personal." He said its "more less about the atmosphere and more about the people in the room".
The performance was part of VEVO's Go Show series.
