Man of Steel 2 star Amy Adams recently spoke out about Wonder Woman being in the film.

With the recent casting news that Gal Gadot (Fast & Furious series) would be playing Wonder Woman, Adams talked with ComingSoon.net about how she wants her character Lois Lane to interact with her.

"I hope that I can be involved with a woman on screen where we're not in a love triangle," Adams said. "That would be fun. Maybe where we team up together and we work as teammates instead of adversaries."

Wonder Woman and Superman are having a relationship in the comics, which complicates things for Lois Lane as she also likes Superman.

Thus far, casting on Man of Steel 2 is generally progressing. Henry Cavill will be reprising his role from Man of Steel, as will Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White and Diane Lane as Martha Kent.

The biggest casting news has been that Ben Affleck will be playing Batman, a decision that has caused spirited debate among fans of the character.

As for the villain(s), there has not even been an official announcement of which will be included in Man of Steel 2. The biggest rumor has been that Lex Luthor will definitely be in the film, while other Superman villains such as Doomsday and Metallo have been rumored as well.

Man of Steel 2, a.k.a. Batman vs. Superman, is scheduled for release in theaters on July 17, 2015.
