It seems the rumors surrounding the Shakira and Rihanna collaboration may actually be factual.

Shakira's reported body double for the song's video, Alexita Ortiz, posted a tweet which pretty much confirmed the claim. The tweet, however, has since been removed.

"Working on set with Shakira:) As her stand in for the new music video featuring Rihanna," she tweeted along with a photo of herself posed with the superstar.

Both blonde ladies were wearing the same red outfit as they smiled for the photo.

On Dec. 8, Shakira also confirmed that she was working on a new project when she tweeted, "I Just finished the video for my first single with director Joseph Kahn!"

The Colombian gossip site ElTiempo.com first reported the news about a possible collaboration between the two stars earlier in December.

The 36-year-old Latina previously collaborated with Beyonce on the 2007 song Beautiful Liar. The song peaked to No. 3 on Billboard and remained on the charts for 18 weeks.

The alleged new song could possibly appear on Shakira's upcoming album, which she had to postpone for other work and family obligations.

"It's coming out as soon as it's ready," she told reporters about her new album in May while promoting The Voice. "I was actually working on this album before I got the call from the NBC people to do The Voice so I had to kind of stop working on my album and also because I had to deliver a baby. So now I have to get back to both things, being a mother and also finishing my album."
