Lamar Odom has run back into the arms of his ex-girlfriend Liza Morales for moral and emotional support since Khloe Kardashian filed for divorce, according to reports. 

Odom and Morales dated for ten years and were engaged in 2000, way before he met Kardashian. 

"Lamar has been talking to Liza in the last few weeks, and she has been a tremendous source of strength for him," a source close to the basketball player told RadarOnline. "Khloe was always insanely jealous of Liza and that is why Lamar distanced himself. He now recognizes that was a mistake."

According to a report, the former lovers will also be spending the holidays in New York with their two children, Destiny and Lamar Jr. 

Destiny was asked on her Ask.Fm page about her parents giving their relationship another shot, in which she shut the thought down immediately. 

"I don't want it to happen anyways. I have him all to myself now!" she responded to a fan. 

While Odom will be spending the holidays in New York with his family, Kardashian will be in Los Angeles with her family, and possibly with her rumored new beau, Matt Kemp. 

"Kris [Jenner] really likes Matt and thinks he's so adorable and like the way Khloe lights up when he's around," the source said. "He's been to their house a little often these past few weeks and an invitation has been extended for he to spend the holidays with Khloe and the family."

A source clarified that Kemp and Kardashian are just friends, as she is dealing with her divorce.

"Khloe's still sad over her marriage to Lamar and is in a lot of pain," the source said. "Matt's helping her out a lot by being there, being her workout partner and being a friend. He's been a good friend to her and she's cried on his shoulders, literally, because she's still hurting after having to divorce Lamar."
