Wade proposed to Union before the Heats, two-time defending NBA champions, were gathering for a team Christmas party, according to USA Today. Being in a happy mood, Wade gave each of his teammates from last season's championship run green jackets, similar to what golfers get for winning the Masters.

Union may be best known for some of her film roles, including Bring It On, Deliver Us From Eva, Meet Dave and 10 Things I Hate About You. Wade won a gold medal in the 2008 Olympics and earning back-to-back NBA championship rings in 2012 and 2013, among his many accomplishments.
