Model/actress Kelly Brook might be the latest celebrity participating in Dancing With the Stars in the upcoming spring 2014 season.

A new report by Mirror claims that Brook has been tapped to compete in Dancing With the Stars season 18. A source close to the show claims that she has already signed on to participated.

"They love British stars on the show, and Kelly is exactly what it needs - she's down-to-earth, she's going to look amazing in all those ballroom outfits and she's not afraid of putting in the work," the source claims.

The 34-year-old actress is most famous in the U.S. for her role in Piranha 3D. According to the report, five-time Dancing With the Stars pro champion Derek Hough put in a good word for Brook with the DWTS producers.

Brook appeared on Strictly Come Dancing (the U.K. version of Dancing With the Stars) in 2007 but chose to withdraw from the competition after her father died.

Which Glee Star Might be Next to Appear on Dancing With the Stars?

If Brook were to participate in Dancing With the Stars, she would be the first celebrity to have competed in both DWTS and Strictly Come Dancing. Judges Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli judge both dancing-competition shows, and judged Brook during her stint on Strictly Come Dancing, so her participating in DWTS would be an interesting story.

"No celebrity has ever appeared on two versions of the show but they are considering breaking the rules for her," the source said.
