Jennifer Lopez returned to her old neighborhood in the Bronx, N.Y., to shoot a video for her forthcoming new single Same Girl over the weekend.

Lopez uploaded two photos on Instagram of the video shoot where she posed with fans that came out to see her.

"THANK YOU #myhood #CastleHill #Bronx #NY#SAMEGIRL," she captioned one shot.

Fan-made videos were also taken at the shoot, which show Lopez wearing jeans, a down jacket and baseball cap while dancing with a few female backup dancers.

The 44-year-old previously filmed several videos in the Bronx, including Hold You Down with Fat Joe in 2005 and Feelin' So Good in 2000, before her latest for Same Girl

In March, Lopez tweeted a photo of herself in the studio with Chris Brown and record producer Cory Rooney as she teased the upcoming single.

Producer RedOne, who signed Lopez to his 2101 record label this year, revealed to MTV earlier in December that the Latina will release a new single in early 2014.

"It's Jennifer Lopez, she's done it all. From dance to urban records, so that's what we're doing," RedOne also told Rap-Up in May. "We're doing an album that has everything. She's an incredible A&R herself, so she loves music, she knows what she wants, and I'm just helping her to do that album."

He also revealed that Lopez's first release since 2011's Love? will feature "at least four or five bangers, incredible hits."

Aside from working on her new music, Lopez will also return as a judge on season 13 of American IdolThe Live It Up singer previously appeared on the show for two seasons in 2011 and 2012 and was a fan favorite.
