The characters of ABC's Modern Family will be stumbling their way through some major life events in the second half of season 5.

When the Dunphys and the Pritchetts return to air after the midseason hiatus, Phil (Ty Burrell) will find himself in jail, Manny (Rico Rodriguez) and Joe (Pierce Wallace) will turn a year older, and Mitch (Tyler Ferguson) and Cam (Eric Stonestreet) will continue to plan their long-anticipated wedding in "And One To Grow On" on Jan. 8.

Mitch and Cam's next item on the wedding checklist is to book a venue, but many fans are more interested in what the couple will be doing for their bachelor party.

That will probably come in March or April," said executive producer Chris Lloyd, according to TV Guide. "There's a lot of pressure on Mitch and Cam because they feel they are setting the new standard for the gay bachelor party. And as for the wedding itself, our challenge is to find a way to be different."

Although it is probably unrelated to the couple's pre-wedding plans, the entire show may soon get a chance to try their luck in Sin City.

"It's looking like we probably will do an episode where everybody goes to Las Vegas," Lloyd explained the TV Guide. "It's at the seventy-five percent stage now, but I believe we will go there. We're putting some finishing touches on that now."

Modern Family airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC. Catch up on Mitch and Cam's wedding plans by watching their proposal in the video below.
