Kelly Osbourne is rooting for Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber to get back together, saying they would be "the perfect couple" if they did.

The young singers ended their relationship in late 2012 but have rumored to be on-again, off again for some time. They were spotted riding Segways together earlier in January and a Jan. 4 Instagram photo of them uploaded by Bieber showed Gomez hugging the Boyfriend singer while gazing into his eyes.

The Fashion Police co-host, who recently called off her engagement to longtime boyfriend Matthew Mosshart, reportedly commented on Bieber's relationship with his ex during the Jan. 10 episode of her E! show. She explained how they need to take time building their relationship back together if they want to see them last together.

"Selena is so gorgeous, and so smart - and she's a real lady. If they do grow up together, they will eventually make the perfect couple," she said. "But I think they're allowed to be together, then not be together, be together. They'll figure themselves out. Let it be."

Just hours before her split from Mosshart was confirmed on Jan. 8, Osbourne and Bieber went spray painting in Las Vegas and later posted photos of their artwork online.

Osbourne talked to Fashion Police co-host Guiliana Rancic about how she became friends with the 19-year-old Canadian.

"It was my best friend's birthday. We stop by and all of a sudden there were people spray-painting and then I got a lesson on spray-painting from Justin Bieber and he's really lovely and he's really nice, completely different than the media perception," she said. "And then I really sat back and thought, 'He ain't half as bad as I was at his age, so he's all right [laughs]."
