‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Liam Begins Investigating Hope Diamond Jewel Heist to Break Up Wyatt & Hope? [VIDEO]
Though Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Hope (Kim Matula) are blissfully happy together, Liam (Scott Clifton) is poised to break the new couple up on The Bold and the Beautiful.
After Wyatt's mother Quinn (Rena Sofer) interfered with Liam's plans to marry Hope twice, he is now trying his own hand at scheming to make Hope realize she doesn't want to be with Wyatt after all, and was only manipulated into believing she wanted him.
In a preview for the Tuesday, Jan. 14 episode, he appears to have found the information he needs to get exactly what he wants.
"You know a lot about these infamous jewel heists, don't ya?" he asked Charlie (Dick Christie) in the clip.
Charlie was hired as security to guard the Hope Diamond when it was featured at the Forrester Creations boutique. He does indeed know about jewel heists and admits he was talking about them all day before he and Wyatt were held up by potential thieves at Forrester.
"I'm telling Wyatt about all these famous diamond heists when one happens to us that very night," Charlie said.
"Imagine that," Liam replied.
Liam's investigation into the jewel heist could spell bad things for Wyatt and Hope's relationship if he stumbles upon the truth. Wyatt initially took the diamond and dropped it in one of the thieves' bags in an attempt to create even more publicity for the boutique and Hope's fashion line.
Even if she learns the truth, Hope could resent Liam for meddling in her new relationship the same way Quinn meddled in her old one. She is tired of her relationship with Liam always ending because Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) somehow always ended up back in the picture.
"Wyatt is committed to me," she explained to Rick (Jacob Young) in the clip. "And it's so nice to look at a man who loves me and not see another woman standing behind him."
The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
