Katy Perry is going to hit the road this summer for a 46-city tour, she announced on Wednesday.

"THE PRISMATIC WORLD TOUR is coming to light up some of my favorite North American cities this summer, as well as some new cities that you introduced me to through your video requests," she said in a statement. "This colorful show will bring you all the songs you know as well as ones from my new album, PRISM."

The Roar singer will kick off the tour on June 22 Raleigh, N.C. and will play her last show on Oct. 10 in Houston, Texas.

Perry also chose three of her "favorite artists" to accompany her on various stops on tour - Capital Cities, Kacey Musgraves and Tegan and Sara.

The tickets go on sale for the general public on Jan. 27.

The 29-year-old also teamed up with Tickets-for-Charity, and will donate $1 from each ticket sold to The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF.)
