Things are about to get sadder on Coronation Street.

The time to say goodbye to her friends has come for Hayley (Julie Hesmondhalgh), who is ready to end her own life before her cancer does it for her. Though it is incredibly painful for her husband Roy (David Neilson), he wheels her around the streets as she says goodbye to everyone.

However, Hayley has saved a few choice words for Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford), and won't be afraid to use them. While the moment does provide some amusement for Roy, the words Hayley saves for him will be much more heartbreaking, as she informs him that she is ready to end things.

Leanne (Jane Danson) is furious with her mother, Stella (Michelle Collins), for talking to Nick (Ben Price) about her marriage, and will argue with her at the Bistro. She won't however, argue with her potentially soon-to-be ex-husband, and will instead make plans with him to go on a holiday.

A hesitant Anna (Debbie Rush) will become worried again when Owen (Ian Puleston-Davies) announces that he's taken out a loan with another company, allowing him to go into business with Phelan (Connor McIntyre) after all. Even though she secretly believes it is a bad idea, Anna will reluctantly agree that Owen should go ahead with the project.

Meanwhile, it is the Retailer's Ball, and Tracy becomes furious when Steve (Simon Gregson) offers a ride to Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) and Stella-leaving her and Rob (Marc Baylis) standing out in the rain. As a result, she will swear to enact revenge on Steve for his betrayal.
