Quinn (Rena Sofer) will once again meddle in her son Wyatt's (Darin Brooks) love life by keeping Liam (Scott Clifton) locked in a powered-down elevator long enough for Wyatt and Hope (Kim Matula) to leave town on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Quinn realized Liam was on his way to possibly intercept Hope before she left town with Wyatt again, and tricked him into using the freight elevator at Forrester Creations. Once she knew he was inside, she cut the power, trapping Liam inside. Now, she will have to convince Wyatt to get Hope out of town before Liam can charm her once again.

"Now is not the time for over confidence," Quinn said to her son in a preview clip for the Wednesday, Jan. 22 episode. "You and Hope, you're still new. Liam knows all of her buttons."

Quinn may convince her son to take action by reminding him that the last time Liam got to Hope first, they nearly lost their livelihood, and Hope almost married Liam.

"You don't want to give Liam the chance to change Hope's mind," Quinn said.

The conversation may persuade Wyatt to get Hope and begin their road trip across the country immediately.

Meanwhile, Maya (Karla Mosley) has been enjoying her time working back at Forrester, and seems secure in her relationship with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor), despite briefly thinking about rekindling her relationship with Rick (Jacob Young) a few months ago.

However, she may now be developing feelings for someone else.

"I like you a lot," she said to Oliver (Zach Conroy) in the clip.

"Mutual," Oliver replied.

Oliver is the photographer who has been working with Maya on several photo shoots. An attraction between the two could prove catastrophic for the model, as the only reason she is back at Forrester is because her lawyer fiance convinced Rick to hire her back. Sparking a romance with someone else while she is still engaged could cause her to lose her job once again.
