A&E has released an official description of Bates Motel season 2, revealing many character details ahead of the March 3 premiere.

The press release for Bates Motel season 2 states that the premier will pick up after the events of the season 1 finale, in which Norman's (Freddie Highmore) teacher Miss Watson (Keegan Connor Tracy) died. Norman is very fixated on Miss Watson's death while mother Norma (Vera Farmiga) is haunted by her past when brother Caleb (Kenny Johnson) comes to White Pine Bay.

Norman is also wrapped up in his complex relationship with Emma (Olivia Cooke), as the pair begins to get involved with new romantic interests, "bringing new and old characters along for the ride."

Dylan (Max Thieriot) is busy getting into the familial drug war in White Pine Bay and finds himself more and more in danger as time passes. Meanwhile, Bradley (Nicola Peltz) is still searching for her father's killer and becomes very driven, potentially putting herself in danger as well.
