Despite rumors of a possible split earlier this month, Place Beyond the Pines co-stars Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes may very well still be dating.

In a recent interview with Violet Grey, Mendes, 39, played coy when asked about her relationship with the 32-year-old actor.

When asked about where she would want to die, Mendes candidly answered "In a bowl of penne arrabiata...or what about Disneyland, isn't that the happiest place on earth?"

However, when the interviewer tried to get the actress to open up about her relationship by saying the happiest place in the world would be in Ryan Gosling's arms, Mendes just laughed the question off.

This is not the first time Mendes has shrugged off answering questions about her rumored beau of two years. Back in September 2013, when she did an interview with The Edit, she also shied away from questions about Gosling.

"I'm sorry, I'm shutting down," she said at the time. "I'm such a weirdo. I literally lose my ability to speak. "

"I live in a very protective kind of bubble that I've created for myself," she added.

Gosling is also known for keeping his romantic life very private in the press, and recently admitted that he doesn't even bother seeing what is being said about him online.

"I don't read what people said of me on the Internet," he told Spanish newspaper La Vanguardia. "The Internet is like a minefield to me. I just simply don't answer there."

Though the two actors appear to be playing coy about the status of their relationship, rumors of a split seemed to be a sure thing shortly after the New Year.

Mendes was spotted out grocery shopping solo, prompting rumors the couple had split because Gosling was rekindling his romance with his former The Notebook co-star, Rachel McAdams.
