NCIS: Los Angeles' agents will be putting it all on the line for one of their most risky missions to date.

Danger is nothing new for those working out of the Office of Special Projects. From bombs to espionage to chemical weapons, Hetty's (Linda Hunt) team has been solving crimes and dodging bullets (somewhat) successfully for qquite some time now. As filming for the fifth season starts to wind down, however, executive producer John Peter Kousakis has warned viewers that there is still plenty of action in store for Callen (Chris O'Donnell), Sam (LL Cool J), Kensi (Daniela Ruah), and Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen).

"Callen, Sam and Deeks head into one of their most dangerous missions. All coming in E518!" Kousakis tweeted his followers in regards to an upcoming episode.

Penned by Frank Military, the man responsible for the season finale/premiere combo of "Descent" and "Ascension," the tale is sure to keep fans on the edge of their seats.

"Just received E518(19) script from #FrankMilitary the episode has many suspenseful moments and true heartfelt emotion #staytuned #NCISLA," Kousakis added on Wednesday.

Filming as 518 but airing as episode 19, the untitled installment may or may not continue to feature Kensi in Afghanistan. Currently tracking the "White Ghost," Kensi is set to return around episode 18, but there has been not definitive word on if that has actually been scripted yet.

NCIS: LA airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on CBS. Click the video below to see a clip from one of Military's previous works, "Ascension."
