After Liam (Scott Clifton) interrupted the couple's road trip to tell Hope about the diamond heist, both Wyatt's personal and professional relationships were on the line. And while Rick (Jacob Young) was ready to fire Wyatt, in a preview clip for the Tuesday, Feb. 4 episode, he appears to be leaving the final decision u to Hope.

"Is he going to stay or are you going to cut him loose?" he asked Hope in the clip.

Hope might consider letting Wyatt keep his job, but she will break his heart in the process by informing him that she no longer wants to be involved with him romantically.

"As far as our relationship is concerned, we are no longer together," she said.

Meanwhile, Liam will pay a visit to Wyatt's meddling mother, Quinn (Rena Sofer), and gloat about the truth being revealed, as well as Wyatt's relationship with Hope ending.

"Oh, have you not spoken to your son today? Something came up," Liam said. "Hope and Wyatt are back in town."

Though he doesn't know that Wyatt and Quinn may still have a contract with Forrester, he can't resist gloating that the mother/son might now be out of jobs.

"It's over for you. And your son," he said,

Liam previously tried to get the mother/son out of business with Hope when the two briefly chose to become engaged again.
