Sami (Alison Sweeney) could be in for a major shock when she returns home from a business trip earlier than expected on Days of our Lives.

Days of Our Lives: E.J. and Abigail Heat Up?

While she has been away, her fiancé E.J. (James Scott) has been carrying on a scorching affair with Abigail (Kate Mansi). Now, in a preview for episodes scheduled to air this week, Sami will arrive home early, thinking that E.J. will be pleased to see her.

"E.J. is going to be so surprised," Sami said in the clip.

Days of Our Lives: Kristen's Doctor Gives Nicole and Dan Some Specific Orders? 

Sami will be correct about his surprise, but it won't be delight over her early return, as he will be having steamy shower sex with Abigail when Sami arrives back in the apartment.

"Hey! E.J.! It's me!" Sami announced as she arrived back in the apartment.

A worried Abigail mouthed "Oh my God," as E.J. struggled to figure out what to do and covered his mistress' mouth.

E.J. will need to find a clever way to cover up his indiscretions , otherwise his entire relationship with Sami could be destroyed once again.

Outside of Sami and E.J.'s troubled relationship, Daniel (Shawn Christian) and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) will find Dr. Chyka's hideout. However, as they get the doctor to start talking, Stefano's (Joseph Mascolo) thugs will show up to try and silence him.

Theresa (Jen Lilley) will fall for J.J.'s (Casey Moss) scheme after he blackmails her with the tape showing her trying to cash a check with a fake ID.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
