Despite finally admitting how they felt about one another, a potential romance between Katie (Heather Tom) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) may not surface on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Ridge and Katie 'Feel Something' For One Another?

Though the two shared a long-anticipated kiss on a previous episode, in a preview for Monday, Feb. 10, Katie is hell-bent on not letting her feelings allow her to repeat history with Ridge.

"I'm not going to do to he what she did to me," she said to Ridge in the clip.

Katie Urges Ridge To Accept Brooke's Marriage Proposal?

Katie is referring to her sister, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) who slept with Katie's then-husband, Bill (Don Diamont) and started a relationship with him. Brooke has since moved on from Bill and has been determined to win back her former husband, Ridge, ever since he returned to town just before Christmas.

Unfortunately for Katie, her feelings are now publicly known by her former stepson, Liam (Scott Clifton) who witnessed Katie and Ridge's kiss, and who is now encouraging her to go after what she wants for once.

"I think you have feelings for Ridge," he said.

Katie admits her feelings to Liam, but again reiterates that she cannot break Brooke's heart.

"He gets it, probably better than anyone, but that's it Liam, that's it," she said. "I would be beyond a hypocrite if I were to let anything develop between the two of us," she said.

Meanwhile, Brooke is confiding in her son, Rick (Jacob Young), about how she knows she will one day win Ridge back.

"It's only a matter of time before Ridge realizes how important it is for us to be a family again," she said. "I will always be the love of Ridge's life."

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
