A rep for Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds has confirmed that the 54-year-old singer-songwriter is engaged to longtime-girlfriend, Nicole Pantenburg.

According to Us Weekly, the singer, who is currently promoting his Love, Marriage and Divorce collaboration with Toni Braxton, confirmed the news as well in a Feb. 6 interview with BET and Braxton.

"Would you ever consider getting married again?" Braxton, 46, asked her duet partner.

Babyface replied with the surprising news, announcing his engagement to the 40-year-old actress and dancer.

"I've already considered it. I'm engaged, so yes," he said.

Pantenburg, his former backup dancer, has been dating the singer since 2007, and they welcomed a daughter, Peyton, together in 2008.

Babyface was previously married to businesswoman Tracey Edmonds for 13 years before the couple divorced in 2005. He has two sons with his ex-wife, Brandon and Dylan.

Pantenburg has mostly remained out of the spotlight outside of her relationship, though she did have cameo roles in the early 2000s on episodes of That 70s Show, Eve, For Your Love and Nikki. She also played the role of Teresa on Brandy's show, Moesha back in 1996.

Babyface has won 10 Grammys in his career, and produced 26 No. 1 R&B hits. His first Grammy was for End of the Road in 1993, and he followed that up with consecutive Grammy wins every year for various albums and songs until 1998. He won his most recent Grammy this year for Girl on Fire, which won Best R&B Album.

No wedding date has been revealed.
